Hold Your Horses is an odd game from Novomatic. The theme is all about wild and beautiful horses, which we suppose is great if that’s what you’re into, but these horses seem to have been plucked from the front covers of erotic romance novels and it borders on the cringe at times.

As for the game itself it’s not all that bad. There are 80 paylines, a big wild symbol and a bonus round. There are no big graphics and animations, no big bonus round or anything of the sort, but there are some big wins and there is also a gamble feature.

Novomatic have a habit of releasing basic games, focusing on quantity over quality. It’s something that you can find on many of the highest rated Microgaming casinos and it’s why casinos like Spin Palace can seem so generic. These games are not all bad, they just aren’t very good.
