The bonus features and random features are what we love so much about Ruby Slippers. There are three separate bonus features, all of which are unlocked by landing 2 of 4 scatter symbols on the first 4 reels and 1 of the 3 bonus symbols on the final reel. But don’t worry if you only get 1 scatter and a bonus, as there is a re-spin feature that could land you all 4 of them.

These bonus rounds include a game of choice, which is the Wicked Witch feature; an Instant Win, which is the Snow-globe feature; and a Free Spins round, which is by far the best of all. The scatters that you land (each represented by a main character) will determine how good the bonus feature is.

In the free spins round, for instance, the Lion gives you a wild reel, the Tinman gives you a 3x multiplier; Dorothy gives you 2x the spins and Scarecrow turns a common symbol into a wild.

On top of all of this you also get a randomly triggered bonus feature which occurs when the ruby slippers at the bottom tap together. This triggers a bubble that turns the reel it lands on wild. It can be meagre, turning only one reel wild, or huge, turning 4 of them wild. But there is also a multiplier here of 2x or 5x.

We don’t say this often, but we love this game. It was one of the first slots we truly fell in love with and one of the few that we keep going back to. It is a hidden gem and we recommend that you play it.
