Jack Hammer is a well-made slot that follows a loosely connected story regarding a detective. It’s like a colorful decretive noir in slot form—an odd but fitting explanation that will make perfect sense when you play this slot for yourself.

Jack Hammer Bonuses and Payouts
Jack Hammer uses a locked symbol feature, also known as a re-spin feature. Every time you land a winning payline, the symbols lock in places and all non-winning symbols spin. This will continue to happen until you stop landing winning paylines and it’s possible to land an entire game screen full of a single symbol.
As is usually the case with slots like this, however, most of the time you’ll find that only the small symbols produce extended wins, with the big symbols running into a dead-end fairly quickly.
There is also a bonus feature on Jack Hammer. This is unlocked when you land 5 of the scatter symbols, but you only need three of these for the symbols to lock and the rest of the reels to spin.
This makes things a little more interesting and in theory it should make the bonus round more common, but that’s rarely the case.
Jack Hammer Review: 80/100
There are slots out there that you will either love or hate. Jack Hammer is a little different, as it will make you love it and hate it in the space of just a few minutes. It is one of those slots that feels great and plays beautifully when things are going your way, but can make you tear your hair out when they are not.
However, it’s very well made, comes with a strong bonus feature that can be very generous, and makes use of a very fun base game feature. All in all, it’s a solid title that is well worth a play.
